About Angelique Sina
Angelique Sina is a Puerto Rican entrepreneur, institution builder, and economic development leader known for transforming ambitious ideas into ventures that generate opportunity, ownership, and measurable growth.
As Founder and President of Friends of Puerto Rico, she has led programs reaching more than 100,000 people, with a particular focus on women, youth, entrepreneurs, and rural communities. Her portfolio also includes the Metro Women’s Business Center, Panorama Farm, Café Ama, and La Licorera.
From her experience with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, to building businesses and institutions in Puerto Rico, Angelique brings a rare perspective: global strategy grounded in local execution.
A member of the U.S. Department of State Speakers Bureau, Angelique speaks internationally on entrepreneurship, women in business, community wealth, social enterprise, agriculture, and purpose-driven leadership. She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico and Johns Hopkins University and has completed executive education programs at Stanford and Georgetown University.
